Complete Household Baskets

The family ration basket calculator brings multiple groceries into one order. Enter different units and prices for each item, subtract available stock and add the delivery charge once. The displayed example is a partial basket with fictional inputs.

Browse the complete basket collection for help choosing this workflow.

Grains And Flour

The atta calculator focuses on flour purchased by mass. It supports kg and g, whole bags, loose quantities and prices entered per unit or per pack. Visit grain planning to distinguish dry stock, purchase quantity and cooked-food estimates.

Build Your Ration List From Measured Use

  1. Count the people and days included in the plan.
  2. Measure each item’s daily use. Divide a household total by the people count before entering a per-person figure.
  3. Count stock you can use during the plan.
  4. Choose the seller’s pack size, exact loose quantity or buying increment.
  5. Enter a current receipt or shop price with the correct unit or pack basis.
  6. Review the quantity to buy, cost and any surplus before ordering.

Split consumption between product types. Do not enter the same complete household demand for every type of rice, flour or oil. For groceries with changing use, shorten the period and update your inputs.

Understand The Planning Results

A shortage is planned use minus usable stock, with a minimum of zero. Whole packs can produce a purchase above that shortage. The extra quantity is rounding surplus; it is not an extra charge added independently of the purchase.

Stock cover is arithmetic at the daily use you entered. It does not establish freshness or storage life. A waste scenario values part of the goods cost and does not automatically order replacement supplies.

Prices, Currency And Budget Limits

PKR is the default for money calculations. The seven supported currencies use the dated indicative reference shown in the tool. Enter a real local price after selecting the currency when pricing a local purchase. A conversion does not update shop prices.

Delivery belongs to the complete order or selected period. Enter zero when there is no delivery charge. An optional spending limit compares your entered budget with the calculated purchase total.

Ration Planning Help

Is this an official Ehsaas eligibility service?

No. These independent tools calculate quantities and costs from entered values. They do not register applications or check CNICs or benefit eligibility.

Should every household use the same quantities?

No. Use your own measured consumption, planning period and usable stock. The examples demonstrate calculations rather than recommended food allowances.

Each calculator includes its own worked examples, formulas and input limitations. Contact us if a result or link appears incorrect, or return to all calculators.
