CM Punjab Laptop Scheme

The Punjab government announced the ‘CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025‘ a few months ago to give free laptops to outstanding students. Now, students are eagerly waiting for their new devices.

The government plans to give 50,000 of the latest computers to deserving pupils. The Chief Minister also mentioned that 2000 minority kids will get laptops. This program is open to students who have passed matric and intermediate.

Which Latest Devices Will Be Distributed?

As part of the Chief Minister’s Laptop Program, students in Punjab will receive 13th-generation laptops and Core i7 computers. Two thousand minority students and top school exam performers will also receive free computers to encourage research and learning.

Details of Laptop Allocation 2025

Laptops will be given to 20,000 university students and 14,000 college students, 4,000 technical and agricultural college students, and 2000 medical and dental students. Students from South Punjab will make up 32% of those getting computers.

Students studying computer science, medicine, science, engineering, and more will be given laptops. This includes social sciences, business, language, veterinary medicine, and agriculture.

How to register for a laptop 2025?

The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 does not have an online application platform. Instead, educational institutions will gather data on eligible students.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab will then release lists of chosen students. They will get the validated data.

CM Punjab Laptop Distribution Timeline

The laptop distribution is expected to start after Ramadan 2025. Registration for the program will begin in February 2025. It is likely to happen in April or May this year.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said earlier this month. The first shipment of computers had arrived in Pakistan.

The chief minister will host ceremonies in several locations and distribute laptops as part of the Honhaar scholarship program.
