BISP Eligibility Criteria 2026 – Who Can Apply?
Quick answer: BISP (Benazir Kafalat) is for low-income households, paid to a woman in the family. Eligibility is decided by your household’s poverty score from the NSER (dynamic) survey — not income alone.
Quick eligibility self-check (estimate only)
Who can apply in 2026?
- A low-income/poor household as measured by the NSER survey.
- An eligible woman beneficiary with a valid CNIC.
- Household registered in the NSER via the dynamic survey.
How the poverty score (PMT) works
During the survey, details about your household (family size, housing, assets) are recorded and turned into a single poverty score. A lower score means a poorer household. If it is below the current cut-off you usually qualify. The exact cut-off can change, so we do not publish a fixed number — check your result on 8171.
Common myths
- Owning a motorcycle does not automatically disqualify you.
- A simple bank account by itself is not a disqualifier.
- No one can “raise your score” for a fee — that is a scam.

Does owning a motorcycle disqualify me?
No. Assets are one factor in the poverty score, not an automatic disqualification.
